There is an abundance of vintage purveyors out there, so what sets ARV apart?

First off, the more the merrier for vintage shops because HELLO sustainability!

Besides my history of hunting and loving “pretties” all my life (read ARV history for more), my love for old and historical runs deep. One of my two degrees from the University of Minnesota was in Archaeology & Anthropology. The literal sense of digging and preservation is so so so important to me.

All fabric and clothing is frozen for 2 weeks prior to cleaning and mending. In 2018 I experienced a moth infestation that nearly broke me. From that, I’ve changed how I preserve and protect old garments and other fabric related items.

And know that when you buy from me, that my money stays hyper local (or for gambling in Vegas ) and used to buy things like a giant clog for peoples photo taking pleasure outside the shop.

My experience as a server and being in the hospitality industry for 15 years has shaped how I view guest experiences. I genuinely aim to create an inclusive, safe, and fun environment.

I will never stop learning. Learning about historical pieces, learning from people and my community.
